This is our second year celebrating New Year's Day with another couple at Terra Mare Restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal. The food and the service were great. One downfall was the presence of pieces of a broken wine glass on our table. We mentioned it to our waitress who quickly removed one large piece. One other piece was found during the meal after one guest had a minor cut on one hand. Again the waitress was called and the piece removed but we could still see pin size pieces of glass still on the table. Maybe a better cleanup should have been done before seating guests.
The restaurant set-up a table for 8 of us. The restaurant was very quiet and we were able to hear each other speak. The menu had an excellent selection of seafood and steak and the food was delicious. Our waiter made our evening as he was very helpful and had a great sense of humour. We would return to the restaurant again and would recommend it to our friends.
Consistently good value for your money.., managed and catered by people that care very much about the quality of what they serve and the quality of their clients' experience.., and they've been doing this for 40 years.., doesn't get much better!
Very much enjoyed my meal... The Oyster Rockefeller was so so, but other than that everything was excellent! My mother had a 2-pound lobster as was very well done... I had the Fisherman's Platter in was excellent as well.

So consistently reliable and excellent value for your money.., on of if not the most outstanding quality restaurants on the west island. We'll be back very soon!
unfortunately you never have to go to the restaurant. it was closed from the last Monday. pity, montreal has lost another good eating.
Wonderful service, with attention to details. Spectacular food and presentation.
The server was fantastic, with a great sense of humor and was very attentive.
