The bad: ordered gambas linguine which is my favorite dish and a great way to assess restaurant quality in my mind. There are two ways to go: 2-3 full gambas with some linguine (the right way or linguine with little pieces of gambas (the bad way . Had them twice already in the last 10 days in two different cities in Corsica and both were served with 3 full size gambas and amazing aldente fresh pasta. This time was very disappointing, must have been the equivalent of 1 medium size gambas in little chunks max in the whole dish of industrial pasta. And pasta sat in a bath of broth (should have guessed...
Coming here 10 years ago we wanted to renew the experience for my 60 years the cosy atmosphere and the setting are always as pleasant. For the dishes that were offered to us the flavors were not at the rendezvous, for the sake of wine we had asked for a bottle of rose, two properties were apparently offered to us only those for a price of 48 euros that we discovered to the addition a little exaggerated even for a gourmet restaurant!! Quite disappointed yet
We had a lovely “welcome dinner” here in our first night in Porto Vecchio and it was perfect. Great food, friendly professional service, and a stunning view over the water.
Great experience! Ceviche at the top, best carrots I have eaten from my life (bony carrots), excellent dessert at the fig, We will come back with pleasure!
