Everyone is short-staffed and expectations should be lowered (not for quality of food/service, but at the very least, for speed). Don't want to wait? Make food yourself at home and send your complaints to the chef there. The peach sweet tea is so fanominal, as was the chili and potato skins (could use a bit less onions on top, but the bacon bits were perfect amount). The ribs we had appeared to be plated first, as they weren't as warm as we would prefer, but the pulled pork and sweet potato were warm, tasted fresh and of good quality. This was our first time in the area and we were looking for something with good food and service. As soon as we walked in our server was on point. I ordered the 8oz grilled pork chops, baked sweet potato with a side salad. My wife ordered the fried catfish with potatoe soup and side salad. That was the first time at a restaurant that my pork chops were grilled to perfection and the fish was so good we ordered two more pieces. If you are ever in Hammond, In make your way to the Texas Corral and you will be glad you did.

Had a delicious lunch here, and it came out in minutes. Had such a pleasant experience that I took my family back for dinner the very next night! Friendly staff, great food, huge drinks, awesome light call system!

Beautiful flowering onion style appetizer. Yummy Shrimps Dinner. Nice Martini flight. Beautiful portion sizes. Fast attentive service. Light switch was cool. I'll be back.
