Texas Reds Steakhouse And Saloon

We always stay and eat at this outstanding establishment when we are in Red River. The rooms are so charming and cozy. The new sliding doors they have installed keep the room a very constant temp, without the heater cycling on. The food from Texas Reds is always delicious and the cocktails are amazing. We try to eat our evening meal as early as we can to avoid the late crowd. This is the most popular place in town to eat at at night. Their staff works incredibly hard to accommodate huge number of people. The live music helps pass the time while you wait. 5 Big Stars for Texas Reds and Lost Love Saloon Lodge, the best place to stay and eat and drink in Red River!

If you're in Red River, NM, and looking for an excellent steak house, Texas Reds is the spot! I dined here and ordered the 10oz Buffalo Prime Rib, and all I can say is WOW! The Buffalo was so tender, well seasoned, and grilled to perfection. I also ordered the Chile Relleno, and that was full of flavor (I mean if you're in New Mexico, you can't pass up ordering Chile). The prices are definitely reasonable for a steakhouse in a tourist town, so keep that in mind when choosing to dine at Texas Reds. I would highly recommend checking out Texas Reds to everyone, delicious food and great service! Can't wait to go back!

This steak house has the best food in town! From their steaks to their quail, the food is never a let down. I returned multiple times on my short visit to Red River and left the restaurant with a smile on my face/ full belly each and every time. Being a steakhouse located in a small tourist town, i completely understand the pricing and the occasional waits. TRUST ME, it is all worth the wait! Our host and waitress were very friendly and tended to us whenever we needed anything. Overall great restaurant with an awesome staff. I will definitely come back for more!!!!

The atmosphere was wonderful, the service from Cameron was fast and efficient. The food was hot and great from the Appetizer to the entree. Make a trip to Red River and stop for the best Angus steak in New Mexico.

We were staying in Angel Fire but loved Texas Red’s so much, we dined twice in a week. Steaks, prime rib and burgers were excellent and service was good. But best thing was the live music!! Great atmosphere
