Used to have a really good review for this burger but had to drop 2 stars ? they did away with that amazing bun you see on the picture YES that bun made an incredible difference ? now they have a regular supermarket bun, if you say medium you get well done if you say medium rare you get raw now ? hopefully they bring back the original bun they follow the correct temperature instructions I?ll add the 2 stars back update this review but as of now I don?t see wanting to goback after several tries of the updated version.
Yuck. Ordered the brisket and full rack rib platters. Everything tasted like it was frozen and reheated. Brisket was clearly old, was grey, unseasoned and cooked poorly. Tasted like it had been microwaved, I had one bite and threw out the rest. BBQ sauce is generic and disappointing. Fried okra was fine, but again tasted like it had come from a bag in the freezer aisle. If you?re just coming for sides this place is fine. If you want a meal look elsewhere.
Food was excellent. First time ordering from here and will do so in the future. Got salmon burger, crab cake wrap, corn chowder (amazing) and a bunch of other bbq food. All was fresh and tasted great. Food was packaged well and was still hot after a bus ride to my place on 92nd st. Highly recommend. Try to reuse their plastic containers if at all possible as they are of high quality but lousy for the environment.
Don't let all the bad reviews here scared you.Came here and grabbed the half chicken with two sides and it was pretty decent. The chicken had a nice seasoning and it was pretty good. I got two sides of the cole slaw and the potato salad and they were both decent. The corn bread that came with the meal was a bit dry. Overall good bang for your buck on the upper east

Just bought a cheeseburger to go 10 minutes ago and what disappointing surprise when I get home and see the fries… you can literally count 8 pieces..unfortunately this place it’s getting worse and worse… this is a busy area with lots of competitive restaurants and you should not treat customers like this.Food: 3/5
Amazing real food..my son who has been battlinf stage 4 cancer for 6.5yrs is obsessed with this place. We travel from California to NY every month for treatment and the moment we get here he asks me to order his “taters and corn”. We usually order from them an additional 10 times at least during that trip
Got buffalo wings and fried chicken? both are deliciousss !! Im just sad i havent ordered wings from this place before Btw this is a personal thing.. you guys should make wings spicier!! I added tabasco habanero and a bit of tabasco scorpion sauce to up the heat level and its sooo much spicier and yummier
I was expecting finger licking good food. The ribs were great but the stuffing had basically no flavor, play with the seasoning on your stuffing. I know allergies can be a factor. Same with the sweet potatoes, add more nutmeg and cinnamon.Food: 4/5

Well definitely beach the lunch trucks on the corners there in New York took a little while but it was good I guess it gets pretty busy around lunchtime at the customer service and the place was very clean worth a try
Its good to eat daily. Very nice staff .easily accessible
