This place is an absolute gem! In from out of town and came here on a whim about an hour before close.Immediately walking up you feel like family, Victor, the owner, offered us samples of the fajita, pastor, chicken and chicharrón to make sure we enjoyed the taste before ordering anything. All four were a knockout. He then took us through what and how he served his food.We got a torta his recommended way and a burrito with chicharron pastor. He also gave us samples of the horchata and cantaloupe drink in case we wanted to get one (we got the horchata, this stuff is literal liquid gold).Long story short, I don’t think i will find food this good again in my lifetime. First time coming here had pretty high hopes, read reviews checked out the menu, most definitely worth it everything was fresh and delicious a bit of a wait but great nonetheless! The gentleman that took our order was friendly he even gave us a sample of the 4 meats they offer while we waited. Would definitely come here again! Some of the best food I have ever had. I am absolutely in love with this place. They have an awesome indoor/outdoor area that is ac cooled and Victor the owner is super friendly and was best service I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, and they even have corn hole boards set up for entertainment, along with music. Definitely a must try place and number 1 in my book in the Highlands area. Victor is my new favorite person and Texas Tacos is my new favorite food truck. Im in love. From the impeccable service to the true love crafted into the food, I have been completely blown away. I live 5 hours from this gem and I cannot wait to return. By far the best torta i have had the pleasure of eating in my life. The horchata was amazing. My girlfriend’s burrito was amazing. Victor is amazing. I look forward to my next trip to Texas Tacos.
