We had a late booking at 20:45 so there was only our table of 12 and then about 3 tables of 2 elsewhere around the restaurant. We ordered almost as soon as we got there yet the food never came out of the kitchen until nearly 22:00 and they never brought my burger with everybody else's food. When we asked about it they explained that the chef had made the wrong burger and had to start again so it was nearly 22:20 before I got mine and it wasn't exactly worth the wait considering everybody else had nearly finished. My little boy got tomato pasta, chips and broccoli; the pasta was dry and stuck together, the chips were anaemic and the broccoli was just one floret served in pot you would normall...
When we brought this to the attention of our server, Gemma M, she was very apologetic and replaced it, but the new milkshake was exactly the same. My boyfriend was so disappointed that he decided to settle for a glass of Coke instead. You can see from the photo how happy he seemed when it finally arrived, but that mood faded as soon as he took his first sip. On a positive note, the restaurant itself is spotless, which is great. Gemma M was an exceptional server—friendly, helpful, and understanding—and if it weren't for her, my boyfriend might have left in frustration. Unfortunately, we ended up stopping at McDonald's on the way home for a milkshake that actually had chocolate in it and was...
It was our first time visiting your restaurant tonight and we was waited on by a lady named ellie B if I’m correct , blonde young girl with glasses. She is an absolute credit to your company, very pleasant and made us feel extremely welcome, always on hand to refill our bottomless drinks with a smile! We never usually email restaurants we go to, but on this occasion we feel we had to. Myself and my husband as business owners ourselves where blown away by her customer service.
The only person to acknowledge us and smile was a lady called Steph. The bar staff ignored everyone that walked in and only because of the lady called steph did a group of guys stay who were walking out as they were fed up waiting and being ignored. No staff interaction except between themselves at the end of the bar. Been to a few TGI and staff always happy friendly and welcoming..except this one at Speke. Thanks to steph. Poor quality food for high prices. Do yourself a favour and go else where. Measly portion of ribs and fries for nearly £30, bland burgers, and the kids hotdogs were disgusting. Also it advertised free kids meals but you have to read the small print as it's for members only. That'll be my last visit to TGI. also it was half empty whilst next door restaurants were heaving, I should have read the warning signs. Service: Dine in
The food was excellent and served promptly. Our server, Luci, was fantastic—attentive without being overbearing, and she was incredibly friendly! We had dinner and I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. I highly recommend the Sesame Chicken Strips!
