My wife and i recently attended Thai Amarin on a quiet evening with only one other couple in the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and well presented. Our order of one entree of fish cakes to be shared, and two mains with rice for two was politely taken. We did not have a long wait for our dishes to arrive. The fish cakes, my wife 's favourite, were spongy and chewy suggesting prolonged storage. Further they were not very tasty. One of our mains was Massamam Beef, my particular favourite, which was dominated by potato and a small serve of beef. Having eaten at the competitors restaurant for years, 7 of us tried Thai Amarin tonight. 30 mins before the one waitress (very friendly) could get to our table. I haven’t seen crinkle-cut carrots since a local Thai in rural Victoria, so was very worried. The Massamun beef was tough but tasty, thai red curry prawns were great, and the chicken with basil and chilli was good. At $40 pp (incl tip) I don’t think it was value for money at all. Sorry, will be heading back to our usual next time.
Invited by friends to dine at the Thai Amarin. We hadn't been before, but judging from other restaurants in the area that we had been to, expected it to be very ordinary. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere, very clean, the staff were attentive and the food great. Lived in Thailand and visit regularly. We eat Street food there as well as dine in fine restaurants, and the food in this restaurant is every bit as good. Highly recommended.
A pleasant eating experience to catch up with friends. Four of us shared a banquet, wine and conversation. The food was freshly cooked and to our delight contained an abundance of vegetables. All the dishes were very tasty, service was fine and the bill was very reasonable for the amount we ate. A pleasant mid range experience. nothing flash but clean and presentable.

We went here mid-week and received very quick and friendly service. The staff and chefs were very accommodating to my family's medical requirements. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a casual, good value and tasty meal.
Service once we arrived was prompt and courteous. Premises were clean and well maintained. The curry puffs, meatballs and spring rolls were a Thai sensation. The curries we both had were not too hot but spicy enough to leave a lasting bite in our mouths. Really enjoyed ourselves.
Had delivery. Nice and quick and came fresh and hot. Yummy chicken wings. Yummy pad see yu also yummy it need an extra kick and the real chicken (good) was a little over cooked but I don’t mind. Free prawn crackers!!!! More fresh Thai basil and chilli please in chilli basil.
We eat here quite often either eating in or take-away. The food is always great and the service is always friendly and attentive. After going here for several years we’ve never had a bad meal or experience.
