The food is some of the best, if not the best Thai food I've eaten. While they have the usual "thai" dishes, I would suggest the specials as I have not seen similar dishes in other Thai restaurants in the area. My only food complaint would be that the appetizers, although very tasty, could have been hotter (temperture-wise). The entrees were fine. The service, while friendly and helpful with recommendations, could use some tweaking. When we arrived there were only other tables occupied with many tables for people empty (we were and had reservations). They attempted to sit us right on top of another table of diners at what was a long table for six...like we were dining with them. When I commented on not wanting to sit so close they simply moved the table out a few inches. It was comical. I asked to be seated against the wall where all the tables for were and was accommodated.
Great Thai food - always reliable tasty . Location in Montclair has more ambience, but the food in both places is fantastic. The best pad Thai noodle sauce perfect, not thick and goopy. We enjoyed a higher chicken roast and a Thai salad. Do not forget to order the Grand Marnier chocolate soufflé! You don't want to miss this!
