Would give negative 5 on service. I had legitimate service issues and when I told her she copped an attitude. Came to light she confused me with some problem customer; I actually raved about these guys prior to this. Anyway, when I said she was confusing me she said to drop it because I was wasting her time because I probably didn’t have a job. She said in business 30 years so your business doesn’t matter. The owner once before left on vacation and left the same rude woman in charge. Well she was in charge today. when I brought up legitimate customer service issues she got belligerent and said she always has problems with me; I said you're confusing me I have always loved this place and she said l was wasting her time as I surely didn't have a job and didn't have anything better to do. All I can say is the owner is so super nice but the lady she leaves in charge is just a dog. No concept of manners.
The excellent tofu delight appetizer is cut into pieces as small as a die, so lots of form fried exterior surface, great texture. Sauce was standard sweet chili sauce. The combo appetizer was just sub par fried foods. I won't order they again. Next time I'll try their green papaya salad. My to-go food, which I ordered 2 hours in advance, was not ready until 15 minutes after the requested time. I think they had not started it before I asked to lock it up.
I used to come here all the time when I was in college. The food and atmosphere are the way I remember. I got the lunch special and it was delicious. Food is tasty, waitress was friendly and prompt, place was clean, prices are affordable. Only one minor drawback is thay portions are rather small. I'm going back!
