Thai Daisy Hill Restaurant

I have been to this restaurant a few times. Really enjoyed the food and the decor. Tonight I decided to introduce family from Ipswich. ( older generation. My partners parents). Well we ALL were impressed. We had the Banquet for 4. No 7. My partner and I love Thai and have eaten in many suburbs. We clearly vote this as the best. Quality. Full flavour. Lots of meat and great very very clean restaurant. Would give 9 out of 10. The 1 missing is for the minor wait to place our order for dinner. Timing of meal coming out was great. Not to fast and not a long wait. Will be back again very soon. Sharnelle and Danny

Went to dinner with a group (4 people) and was surprised by the quality of food. The menu offered a selection of dishes and when served, was well presented. The restaurant is under new Management and it was a little quiet the night we were there. I believe once the word gets around about the quality of food, this place will be well visited. We certainly will go back.

Unfortunately, the two times we picked up take-aways from this restaurant were very disappointing and we aren't going there again. It recently had a change of ownership but not for the better. We had Pad Thai and a curry, very ordinary dishes, and they didn't meet the usual standards of Thai restaurants I am aware of.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant last week and also enjoyed takeaway from there last night. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Thai Daisy Hill is always a pleasant dining experience for large or small groups. The restaurant is big enough to accommodate both and the food is always filling and fast to be served. Some of my favourite dishes are the tom yum soup, pad thai and the banana and coconut dessert dish.

The food was brilliant. Ordered a gluten-free dish for a Coeliac and this was not a problem for the chef. Our party also ordered a banquet (#8) which was amazing! So much food! All the food was very fresh and tasty and we waddled out!! (With leftovers!) We will definitely be back.

I recently ordered takeout and I was really impressed. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend this local restaurant.
