I dined at Thai Emerald a few years ago. The staff was friendly and polite. The food was well-cooked and served hot. For starters, I had deep-fried prawns in sesame seed batter, while my partner had todmun pla, fish cakes. For our main course, we had grilled seabass in a banana leaf with jasmine rice. The table was beautifully decorated with photos, an elephant, and a Buddha statue. I will definitely be visiting again.
Have eaten here many times, and let down by recent experience. Food was OK but not as good as in the past and the pudding selection is still woeful. Miserable, rude waitress and they have the cheek to add a 10% service fee to your bill, which is virtually impossible to read as it is so dark. I have been going there for over 10 years. Don't think I'll go again.
We had a fantastic evening dining at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, the food was exceptional with a diverse menu, and the prices offered great value. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We are frequent consumers of Thai cuisine, and we can confidently say that this restaurant ranks among the best we have tried.
Beautiful interior design, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Stunning presentation of food, we had one of the set menus and there was plenty of food for two people. Last minute booking, fitted us in, as always, very polite and professional. Lovely venue, fabulous food, it’s the best in the Midlands I’m sure!! You will not be disappointed, my brother has been here a few times and it’s always great!!!!
I went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration with my family and friends. The food was delicious, but the service felt a bit hurried. Despite that, we had a lovely evening.
The food was amazing, the ambiance was serene, but the music was a bit too low. The decor was lovely. I wish I could have had more to drink, but the service was lacking.
