Thai Ginger Express

Upon opening the meal, I found that the curry was cream-colored, not green, and lacked flavor. The beef was tough and thin, making it difficult to eat. The dish contained an abundance of carrots and bamboo with only a small amount of broccoli. As someone who has enjoyed authentic Thai cuisine in Thailand and visited many Thai restaurants in Australia, I can confidently say this was the worst curry I've ever had. Having lived in this area for many years we have eaten at every Thai restaurant in the district (often) and Thai Ginger Express is our favourite. It's only a small Thai restaurant, tucked away in Fountain Court. but it certainly packs a punch. The owner/chef is delightful and her staff equally friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and, although the restaurant specializes in Take-away, the atmosphere in the restaurant is excellent. The food is authentic Thai with a 'capital A' and I would recommend the Green Chicken Curry, anything with duck in it and all of the stir-frys.

I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. You have the option to take your food to go or sit and enjoy delicious Thai cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. Before or after your meal, you can stroll down to see the Bee Gee's Walkway and the water. My family had a perfect meal there and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening. The food is amazing, especially the chicken in peanut sauce. You have to try it to believe it!

Lovely little Resturant in Fountain Court Arcade of Sutton St Redcliffe. Friendly staff. Excellent food. You got to try the Pad Thai or Cashew Nut Chicken it's B.Y.O & have lunch special Tuesday to Friday from $10. Tuesday night dinner from $10 - Great Value

This was the worst Thai food I have ever tried. We ordered pad thai, laksa, spring rolls, and coconut rice. The pad thai was bland and lacked any flavor. The only edible item was the coconut rice.
