One toasted bread is given cut in four pieces. I never knew toasted bread could taste so good when dipped in peanut sauce. I kid you not. I would not recommend the food here. The drinks were amazing, as was the staff. Come and have drinks while you are waiting for your table at Din Ti Fung. We ordered the chicken skewers, and they looked like #2 pencils. My Halibut Cheeks curry was dry and barely any fish. I thought the Halibut curry would have a filet on top. But, it was 3 small nuggets that were bland.
Great service and delicious food! I tried the calamari rings paired with a sweet and spicy sauce, and the spicy eggplant with chicken and white rice, both of which were tasty. The restaurant was quite busy, but the server was friendly. The service was quick, so I didn’t have to wait long for my meal.
I dunno why people have given this place poor ratings. We visited on a Fri at 6 PM just before a show at The Paramount. Got seats quickly and the service was quick and friendly. The food was solid as well. We were a party of five and had not made reservations either. ?
