Drove around town and found this little hideaway restaurant & decided to check it out. Plain and simple tables/chairs with no paper or linens on the tables. Not a very big place but we got seated quickly . The menus were very worn out and dirty but the waitress was friendly and the food was really good! The calamari was probably the best I'd ever had. A very light coating on perfectly cooked calamari - not chewy and not greasy- just fabulous. The fresh rolls were amazing as well with tofu, carrot, lettuce in rice paper. I had the spicy beef with veggies. My husband had the coconut chicken something soup- didn't appeal to me but he claimed it was pleasant. He also had some kind of shrimp sata...

We stopped by on our way home from Lake Erie to Toronto. What a gem! Service was excellent and quick! Food was delicious -- one of the best Thai restaurants I have visited. There are some Thai restaurants that have a 'fast food' taste -- this one is the closest to a home cooked meal -- fresh ingredients, loads of vegetables and quality food. We had the Tamarind beef curry which is now my new favourite dish. The pad thai is an authentic pad thai (it doesn't have that ketchup-like taste that others have with a generous portion meat and good quality shrimp). Another highlight - it's only 2 minutes from the 401 - what a great way to break up a long car trip!

The resto has nice ambiance, a full bar and some parking, but for a remote Thai place, it is meh. The service is ok, the food could be more tastier, but the value is terrible. $35 pp for lunch is not cheap. coupled with small portions, poor value. The tamarind curry is indeed nice, but red curry insipid. Coconut rice ho hum. And pad thai really small. In fact all the portions are small for this price point ($14 per dish). Perhaps it is the only game in town.Service is not bad, but I can see it getting so, if busy. Brusque would be a polite way to put it. Generally, nice ambiance, but poor value. Would not return.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and appreciated waiter Phil's recommendations for curried beef or Pad Thai. Service was excellent and well timed, and we ordered cocktails which were quite enjoyable. Food was very tasty, with a range of hotness available on request, and the individually sized servings were fine for one person though less inclined towards sharing or leftovers. Interesting place, with apparently some interesting history prior to its restaurant days. Quiet atmosphere, not fancy, but certainly worth recommending. Likely to return. Reserva una mesa ahora

It has some nice Thai’s decorations on walls and this used to be a Pub. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.I went for lunch. For $10 lunch special (not including tips and tax), you got spring roll, soup and main dish (see photo). The spring roll is pretty good, fresh and crispy. The food is not authentic Thai’s, too mild and westernized. Other main dishes on menu would cost around $15.One interesting thing was we ordered shrimp but got chicken, ordered coconut rice but got plain rice. The waiter had kindly replaced the chicken.

Our foursome had no issues. Service was good and the luncheon specials ordered came quickly. Portions were just right for a midday meal. I particularly liked the offer of separate bills, couples bills or a table bill. Our hiking group always stops for lunch here when the activity takes them to the escarpment trails. We will definitely join them next time they are in the vicinity. One small quibble – none of us was asked what level of seasoning we preferred on the spiced dishes selected.

Checked out the Thai House before heading to Mohawk race track. We ordered the shrimp curry and pad Thai. Both were great. There was a large amount of shrimp in the curry and a good size. We ordered a couple of cocktails which they didn't skimp on the alcohol. As other reviewers commented, it's a bit off the beaten path and not a location you might expect to find a restaurant. Definitely worth checking out.

We love this restaurant and the food and service are wonderful but we were there today for lunch and it was very humid outside and when we went in to the restaurant we found it very warm inside to make it feel uncomfortable. Hoping for future visits in the humidity we will find they will turn the AC up. Reserva una mesa ahora

So fresh, so tasty. Probably the freshest tasting ingredients I've ever had at a Thai place. Food was just super. Don't be fooled by the exterior and think this isn't a great place. It pleasantly surprises.
