I've given 4* as the food was delicious. Some lovely unusual dishes on the menu. What let the place down was the atmosphere (more to follow on that) and the restaurant needed a bit of TLC as was looking a bit tired. Looking around noticed it needed redecorating. The service was friendly but slow, a number of diners got up asked the waitress for more drinks or when their food would be ready which affected the atmosphere. We had to wait between 30 and 45 mins for our food which we was ok by us but not for others. The main reason we found out was due to number of takeaways/deliveries being ordered and accepted. The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and provide fast service. The food was delicious, with the chicken green curry standing out in particular. For vegetarians, there are a variety of nice options available. However, parking can be challenging on Saturday nights. Overall, a great spot for a dine-in dinner with prices ranging from £1-£10 per person.

this is my first time to publish an evaluation, and I must say that thai orchid offers some of the best Thai food I have ever tasted. the most important highlight of my evening yesterday was the green curry. wow, which aromen! they will definitely see me at thai orchid.

Food doesn't taste authentic . I think the kitchen staff is british and they cook in british style .
