I gave them a 2 because the portion size was great, but the food was just below basic. I ordered an s6, which is orange chicken and fried rice ? the chicken was soggy and sweet with mediocre flavor. The shrimp fried rice was rice with soy sauce. I was expecting there to be veggies, eggs, and shrimp (more than 2). The Thai tea was so sweet that I almost fell into a diabetic coma! Never did I expect to order takeout just to come home and still have to cook the food to my liking. I added carrots, peas, and eggs to the rice. I also had to add more ice and cream to the tea. The only way to save the chicken was to cut the sweetness of the sauce with sliced green onion and chili sauce? very disappo...
Wow, just wow! Can I say that without a doubt? This place is definitely extremely low key! The owner is super attentive, the food is amazing and everything is extremely brilliant! We finally showed up and it didn't ruin the experience! We ordered about 8 different records as there were 4 of us... everything was amazing! The soup was well made with all tastes and the crabs legs, shrimps and oysters! Honestly, this is a diamond in the grob! If you can live nearby or drive easily, do yourself a favor and try them out. Mom and Pop Shop that deserves all accolades! Food, beer and service is great! Thank you for all the food and amazing service! Cheers!
I took my mother to this restaurant to try something new. We both her and I ended up hating it the experience.I ordered the large noodle soup for both us to share, which was 13.95. I ordered hot tea which was 1.99 and the thai tea 3.99 everyone keeps talking about. Some how we ended paying $33, for one soup and two drinks. I was careless not to double check what she was charging me. I don't like confrontation so I didn't go back and stormed in there. But the lady here is a scam artist. The soup was mostly all spinach so not only was the soup not worth that price, but the lady kept rushing us. You are better off trying something else. Trust me.
Great Thai restaurant that has been in Inglewood for about 30 years or so! I haven't ate there since 1992,but it still taste as good now as it then! They give you large portions and the prices won't break the bank! The customer service is excellent! The staff is very friendly and check on you constantly! They even give you water with lemon without asking! That's unheard of in the restaurant Industry! It has been awhile since I visited this place, but I won't stay away that long again! First of all, we got greeted like royalty by our server/hostess 'Ya '. She was very helpful in detailing the menu to us and recomending special. The presentation of the seafood soup was great and the bbq chicken, and the spicy glass noodles were something out of this world. The dishes were authentic Thai items that leave you in awe of how tasty, fresh, and lean this food was. Amazing place food is delicious and customer service is just as good gotta try the spicy noodles and the seafood soup. I highly recomend anyone dropping by to this cozy hole in the wall place that is delicious!
I 've been coming here for years; roughly 11+ years. I like their service, however, their flavor of food has been diminishing with time. I have never waited as long as i did today for a glass of water:20 minutes, i asked for a hot sauce, servee told me this is the only one we have , the sauce jars were almost empty. Not good. Anyway, i will give this place another shot, only because i have never experienced anything like today. If it happens again, i will go somewhere else. And it was not busy, all the tables are available
I had a very disappointing experience with the chicken roast rice from this restaurant. I paid a steep price of $20 for a soggy, bland chicken fried rice that lacked any seasoning. Each bite was unpleasant, as there were surprisingly hard, stale bits of rice mixed in. It felt like I was eating small stones. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Save your money and order from somewhere else.
