Thai Sandgate - Reserva de mesa

After a busy day we decided to grab some Thai takeaway for tea. The man who took our order was a genuinely friendly man. :) The meal was ready within 15 minutes and it was hot and tasty! It's the BEST chicken & cashew I have ever tasted! Usually chicken & cashew is very bland looking and the meat looks boiled, but this looked like it might have been grilled slightly and was seasoned with herbs. There were plenty of vegetables with it too. Our other dish, a mild beef curry was excellent also. It's the first time I've had potato and sweet potato/pumpkin in a dish like this BUT I don't eat a lot of curry so am really showing my ignorance here! LOL! :)I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Although living in area this was my first taste of their wares. The restaurant was quite plain with the usual Thai royal respect photos with a few Aussie flags{should be a combo of both in my view] service was good and friendly but the food was the big surprise both with a big serve with great flavour. If you like Thai food as we do do yourself a favour and give it a try.

Yes. I am saying best ever.ni have had Thai food in Las Vegas, Florida, Melbourne, and Sydney. This was the best. Simple and inexpensive. I had a seafood dish with scallops and prawn. What was unexpected was the salad beneath the seafood. It was to die for. They added a touch of mint leaf which sent my mouth flying! If you are near Sandgate , do not miss this Thai!

Recently dined in with a friend (usually get takeaway). We shared red curry chicken and honey pork ribs. I've been eating here for many years and the quality is always consistent, the ingredients are always fresh and the service friendly and fast. The Honey Pork Ribs are simply to die for and they do a great Thai Beef salad as well. Reserva una mesa ahora

We've tried a lot of Thai food and found Thai Sandgates dishes were fresh & delicious. Staff were friendly & helpful. Restaurant was a bit tired looking but don't be fooled by the looks. Had trouble calling yo name a booking but we will definitely go back.

Love this place. Pad Thai is the best thing there along with the peanut chicken. I tried the pad see ew, it was really good too. Also the soup was nice coconut chicken soup. Photo is of the pad see ew.

Surprisingly tasty and good value. I hadn't eaten Thai before and found the restaurant small but clean and lots of choices on the menu
