Firstly I recommend you book a table to avoid disappointment because if you like Thai food this restaurant is not to be missed. It is not a large establishment and there were seating for 15 people on our visit with a group of 6 people being turned away due to capacity. The restaurant is run by husband and wife with the wife being the cook and the husband being everything else!!! As a vegetarian I often cannot find anything suitable in France but the owner was so extremely helpful ensuring I was served a meal I would enjoy. I was not disappointed both my starter and main course were full of flavour, looked appetising and tasted even better. My husband enjoyed his pork starter and chicken with ginger as a main. Finishing off the meal with coconut ice cream and a coconut and mango creme brûlée superb. Would definitely recommend and will book again when next in Sens. Thank you both for a lovely evening
We love Thai food and I cook it quite often. We stopped here for lunch. It is a small place with about 14 seats total. There were 3 other people sitting at one table. While the food was truly excellent, the timing was a problem. We watched the other table and each dish was made one at a time and served. So the first person got their dish and finished it by the time the next person's dish came out. And so on. We decided to share our dishes, but it was still a long process. Our lunch was over two hours (appetizer and main, no dessert or coffee). The owners are really sweet people, but they were a little too intrusive explaining Thai ingredients while we were eating. Prices were very reasonable. We do wish them well.
This was recommended by our hosts at the Maison D'Aviler where we were staying and which is next door. All the food is cooked to order and we had a wonderful discussion with the owners before making our choice. We could also choose how spicy the food was. I think that this was the best Thai food that I have had unexpected in the middle of Burgundy. It fully deserves all the excellent reviews. There were 6 of us all experienced travellers and we all felt the same.
On visit in Sens we went to this restaurant on local advice. It turned out the be rather small, cosy and with a hint of Thai atmosphere, but then came the food. Every bite was a marvel of taste and oriental elegance. The great three course meal was brought to us, as it was cooked for us: with passion. Whenever in Sens take a stroll along the river and go to Thai Tae.
