Thai Taste - Reserva de mesa

Just moved to Carbondale from Minnesota and heard wonderful things about Thai Taste so my partner and I ordered take out (Pad Thai, Pad See-Ewe, and sticky rice) to bring back to the apartment while we unpack. We ordered a bit later in the night (6:50pmish) and our Pad See-Ewe was astoundingly salty (I could only eat a couple bites) and the sticky rice was dry/hard. My partnerand I did enjoy the Pad Thai but agreed it could use more flavor. We will probably try dinning in to see if the experience isany different but will most likely not try the take out again.

This place is so iffy. The first couple times I've eaten here, the food was great. After that, I've consistently received old, burnt rice (I usually order the spicy fried rice). Also, sometimes it seems as if the food has been frozen, thawed, and reheated, as it has a freezer smell to it. It's just not worth paying the money for the gamble in quality. Just my opinion. I've only ever gotten take out, though. Maybe it's better if you go in? Just worried to try.

Food is good. Restaurant is smaller on the inside, could be seen as intimate. More for a date night, not a kids place. Our food took awhile to come out but our appetizer and entrees all tasted good. Was exceptional. Had some kind of curry. I've forgotten now but it was very flavorful and fresh. Great service. I always get top notch service here. Never a complaint. Keep up the good work you guys. Thai Taste has something special. Reserva una mesa ahora

Me and my boyfriend eat here at least six times a month. The spicy chicken fried rice is amazing and the spring rolls are the best. We love it. Our favorite place by far

I have never had a bad experience at Thai taste. It's great having a place to go with flavorful food that is always consistently exceeding my expectations.
