We came in and were seated accordingly. Our waiter explained how their menu works and gave us some time to look over it. I can say that my drink was amazing. Unfortunately the food took a very long time to come out but it also really wasn't that good. The meat on some of the sandwiches we got tasted reheated. The chicken was very rubbery. I had the pizza, which was good and the soft pretzel was good as well. Everything else that we had really wasn't all that great. This is a hard review for me because I've had high hopes for the place for a long time and finally got the chance to eat there. Food is good however will never return as the service is absolutely unwelcoming. The servers were extremely rude when you enter. It is a very disappointing experience . They need a lesson in etiquette and how to treat customers properly. When you enter and try to walk to the bar they point out that “there is a sign to wait to be seated” as if you are illiterate. They look at you as if you aren’t worthy to be served. We had to ask multiple times to even place an order and to get our check. Do NOT recommend. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
The 16th Ward is a great place to go for a night out in Scranton. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated, and the food and drinks are top-notch. I especially enjoyed the flatbread pizzas, which were flavorful and well-made. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Mark, who was our host. He was incredibly helpful and friendly, and he made sure that we had a great experience. While out of town I went to this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cute bar and grill. I sat at the bar, and Mike was my bartender, and he was great. He made me the best vodka martini. For my meal I ordered the chicken curry dish. When it came it looked delicious but when I tasted it, it was bland. They were so gracious to change the dish.
