Sunday Drag Show/Brunch for my bday in winter of 2021 during holiday weekend mostly locals around/covid vaccination proof needed (late post shoutout). It was so much fun! Minus the embarrassing need to walk upstage and dance. First come first serve, or else RSVP allowed with VIP Bottle Service or minimum spend for table. 2hour meter parking on Sundays too (pdc or park by the library), with certain neighborhoods with permit parking. The restaurant experience was overall good, but the service provided by the waiter, Jared, and the supposed manager, Tod, was disappointing. It was frustrating when we had to serve ourselves dessert and ask another waiter for water and spices. The other waiter, however, was friendly and attentive. Jared, on the other hand, made inappropriate comments and disregarded our needs. He even mentioned being "86ed" if we didn't leave a tip, which was unacceptable. It is clear that Jared needs to be reprimanded for his behavior.
I was reminiscing about a bartender I had a few years ago, and eventually ended up in the bathroom of the chapel. I stumbled out after closing time, with the help of a female Uber driver who overcharged me and I ended up throwing up. Fast forward to now, and the same issues are still occurring. It seems that the staff is the root of the problem. It's surprising that this place is still in business. What's even more shocking is that when some patrons called the police, nothing was done. Enter at your own risk.
I was there last Friday and I was out with friends and the bartenders are kind of rude. a guy screamed a friend of mine to ask for a drink. if they can't handle any hurry at the weekend, they don't work on a bar.

Loved the outside patio and reasonable metered street parking nearby. Food and drink offerings was delicious and varied. Not a bargain price but well worth it!
great place, actually came last year here for halloween! love the opposite and this bar. there is always something going on. good drinks, but great people.
I spent several days looking for the Thanksgiving Festival that matched my taste buds and the menu of the abbey always a winner. to go hot, I went.

$6 for carbonated water out of a soda gun? Wtf. Also, not a very welcoming space for queer women and gender expansive folks.
