A nice traditional pub between Teddington town centre and Bushy Park. It had a nice garden and a small amount of seating outside the front too. There is a good beer selection from the Shepherd Neame stable too. We came on a Sunday and had a roast and the Cajun chicken baguette. Both were reasonably priced and very good. The menu is very much along the lines of homely dishes. Staff seemed a bit stressed on the day, although the lady who said she was the manager was friendly. Would definitely return. This is a good boozer with pub food a great traditional pub that retains its character and hasn’t had the fancy makeover that would make it like every other pub. If you want a gastro pub with expensive and pretty food go elsewhere but if you want a great local pub with friendly staff led by landlady Marianne then this is the place for you. Recommend the steak if you want to eat it’s better than you’ll get in other places locally and will cost more. The prawn cocktail is really nice too. It’s popular on Sundays for the roast dinner too. In summer the garden is the best in the area. And ladies if you want somewhere you can feel comfortable on your own this is the place.
My wife and I visit The Adelaide regularly, often with friends, as it is our favourite pub to visit for lunch. The food is excellent from a very varied menu and there is a good choice of wines and beers. The interior is a traditional English pub and there is plenty of covered seating for drinking or dining in the garden. The whole premises, including the loos, are spotlessly clean. It is dog-friendly should you wish to combine your visit with a walk in the nearby Bushy Park. Mariana, the owner, has a great sense of humour and is always up for a bit of banter. Overall, I would recommend the pub as a great place to visit.

Night out to watch friends band, breath of fresh air to have lovely friendly bar staff, with no waiting around and getting ignored like most bars, actually felt like they were giving a service as opposed to feeling like there doing you a favour, great food, I had the vegetarian nachos, with chickpeas, the best I’ve ever had, lovely bar and recommended
A peaceful pub with a TV for sports, and a good-sized upstairs room suitable for parties and functions. They are kind enough to host an open mic poetry evening on the first Sunday of every month. Any pub supporting poetry gets my vote!
Stopped for a quick refreshing drink after a walk in bushy Park They a real friendly and the food looks good and it's very well priced will definitely come back and have some food
