The place is beautiful definitely, drinks are amazing but definitely not a place for food. I asked the waiter if they could change something of the menu and I had to ask about 3 times because she’d always say “i dont know”, after getting my answer there was a huge miss understanding with the payment which the answer also was “I don’t know” and the food was just tasteless and what actually had flavour wasn’t a good flavour and in the end you pay 30£ with no drinks included. spent about 50£ in there and the only thing I enjoyed was the drinks. Very disappointed
Popped in for Sunday breakfast/brunch and was impressed. £11 for the full English breakfast and all items were top quality, the poached eggs were very tasty cooked well. The tea was funky with the addition of dry ice to it and quite novel. Very opulent inside like other Alchemist venues and reckon it’s packed for cocktails of an evening. Nice surprise when the bill came and it was 50% off for January which I’d had the Steak Eggs now! Good attentive service from Niamh.
My family and I had an amazing lunch experience at this restaurant. The menu had a variety of delicious options, making it hard to decide what to order. The drinks were unique and the waiter entertained us with tricks involving dry ice or other fun surprises. The restaurant had beautiful artwork displayed on the walls and menus. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to others, especially for groups.
Loved the food and all the cocktails here. Absolutely fascinating what they do with the cocktails and really involve you in the experience. Staff were also really helpful and friendly, we had an offer for a free meal and they took the most expensive one off the bill which never happens.

Went to The Alchemist in Chester for out evening meal. Fantastic food, cocktails and staff. Couldn't fault them they were all amazing and very accomodating of us as we had a pushchair with us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit whilst in Chester
Love this place! Little bit different although a little expensive when drinking, highly recommend 'the colour changing one ' cocktail. Lovely food and very friendly staff who helped my mum choose the right cocktail. We will definitely be back
