The drinks are quite good, but be prepared to wait at least half an hour. Honestly, it consistently takes 25 to 30 minutes just to get two drinks, regardless of whether the place is busy or not. For instance, I visited tonight when it wasn’t busy at all—there were only 4 or 5 people in the back. I’m baffled by how slow the service is; only one person seems to be making an effort, while the others seem to take their time. It’s great for the staff, but not so much for the customers. To top it off, they mixed up one of our drinks, and there was no sense of urgency in remaking it. Despite this, I do enjoy their tea, so I might return if I’m in the area and have time to spare.
I've always wanted to try this place! They also have a location in San Gabriel, which is a bit far for me. I happened to visit during their soft opening, so there was no line. The boba is fantastic and has a nice chewy texture. I recommend trying their Royal No. 9 or any of their milk drinks. Just a heads up about the sweetness—I'm a fan of sugar, but even the 100% sweetness option was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll stick to 50% sugar next time. Overall, I'm really glad they opened this location!

Situated in Diamond Plaza, which has seen a decline in foot traffic due to ongoing street construction, the ambiance is delightful with its industrial and minimalist decor. I particularly like that they offer the option to order teas in larger catering sizes, which I haven't seen at many other places. The service is prompt, and the quality of the drinks is decent.

You need to choose the right drink that matches your taste. We really enjoy it, but some of our friends don’t like it at all. In our opinion, The Alley is better than Tiger Sugar.
The brown sugar cream bruise milk is absolutely delicious—I'm a big fan! I also really appreciate the decor and the seating style, along with the lighting. Everything is so chic!
It's way too slow! We ordered two milk teas and waited 30 minutes for just those two. It feels unreasonable that only one person is making all the drinks.
