**12/20/2019:** Today was our first time visiting this place. We bought a variety of items: pork, bacon, souse, chicken wings, stew, pie, cookies, bread, pretzels, and pretzel hotdogs. There was so much to choose from! However, we didn't realize that the shed near the market entrance was actually a store selling fruits and vegetables until I looked at some pictures later. Everything looked great, and I thought the prices were reasonable. So far, we've tried the pretzels and pretzel hotdogs, almond cookies, chicken wings, and pork "wings." They were all very tasty, especially the pretzels—soft and moist, with just the right amount of baking soda compared to others I've had. Delicious! I’ll up...
We absolutely adore the Amish Dutch Wagon! Initially, we visited for their AMAZING steaks. Then we discovered the bakery on our right, and it quickly became a must-stop. On our next visit, we turned the corner and had the most incredible bacon burgers EVER. Then on our following trip, oh my goodness!!! I had the most AMAZING chicken pot pie EVER! And I can't forget the mind-blowing tapioca pudding! It's simply the best. I always get two medium containers and tell myself they'll last until next week, but it's so incredibly delicious that I end up devouring it all by Sunday morning! We truly LOVE the Amish Dutch Wagon Market!
I absolutely LOVE this place! They have the best gluten-free Monster cookies at the bakery downstairs, and I can't get enough of their pretzels and cheese dip. In fact, all their pretzels are fantastic. They also serve the BEST grilled cheese, although mine today was a bit on the salty side for some reason. Regardless, I really enjoy their grilled cheese, which comes with a side of coleslaw, a pickle, and chips for just $5.06 – you can’t beat that! The staff is friendly, and I just adore the Amish community. Their kids are so cute hanging out in the store while their parents work.
The staff were all very nice and friendly. The pretzel was made fresh right in front of us and was incredibly tender, soft, and fluffy. They dip it in butter as soon as it's made, which is delicious. The mustard was tasty enough that we decided to buy a jar, but we think it might be stale. The takeout food here is incredibly tasty. I especially love the bakery section, and the cooked meats are a must-try—particularly the pot roast with gravy! The side dishes are also delightful. Additionally, they have an impressive deli and a full butcher counter, along with a candy kiosk that serves amazing fudge. I highly recommend this place! Just remember, they are only open on Fridays and Saturdays.
This place offers a wide selection of prepared foods, cold cuts, a meat market, a bakery, cheese, desserts, bulk seasonings, jarred butters, jams, and jellies. There’s also a cozy spot to sit and enjoy a meal. Be sure to check out the downstairs area for even more treats. Outside, you'll find sheds, chairs, and plants. The staff is made up of wonderful Christian people!
