We only went in for a drink, but the amazing staff at the bar treated us to a round in honor of the legendary Gordon Banks walk starting tomorrow. It came to £46.00 in about 30 minutes. A big thank you from Duncan, me, and the whole team!

One of the few wet pubs in the area, this is a free house that offers outstanding beer and is frequented by a friendly group of regulars. The Anchor holds the licenses and manages the bars for several local village halls.
