The Andersen's - Reservar una mesa

Andersen's Restaurant Bakery is a great place to eat. We were lucky to get a table. You order at the counter and give you a number on your table. The ordering process was as efficient as the table service. The food was excellent. I had her famous quiche. It was much more tastier than the quiches in ordinary restaurants. My wife had French toast, also excellent. She gave me a taste. I recommend The Andersen's Restaurant Bakery.

This is my go-to spot in Santa Barbara and I always go for the Viking plate. I'm a big fan of Scandinavian cuisine and this dish has a little bit of everything. The herring is fantastic and the pate portion is quite generous. The best part for me is the homemade pumpernickel bread that comes with it. It's a shame they don't sell the bread separately, as I haven't found anything similar in Santa Barbara.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly and even offered a sample of both pastries we requested. The coffee and tea were both excellent, as were the pastries - especially the strawberry and cream cake, which had real cream. This was a far cry from the typical low-quality pastries you find at Starbucks or similar chains.

I ordered a slice of the butter ring cake with marzipan and apple (layered and delicious), as well as the Boo Tart which has chocolate and apricot on top. I also took home the Scandinavian duck with red cabbage, baked apple, mashed potato, and port wine reduction. The total cost was $72.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Not to mention the incredible variety of cakes, pastries, and more. We had a fantastic experience!
