The Arts Club - Reserva de mesa

The worst experience in years. We booked a garden table to enjoy our dinner outdoor-every single table around us had unconsidered customers smoking huge cigars and cigarettes to the extent we were surrounded by clouds of smoke whilst trying to enjoy a mediocre dinner. We eventually moved inside which was suboptimal given that the whole purpose was to try reduce chances of catching covid indoor. To add to it my lentil salad order as a main course was served in a Chinese ball as a side dish with total disregard to to manners from the arrogant waiters. 150 per person for one prawn cocktail and lentil salad and Coke Zero coupled with a miserable experience , arrogant waiters, a dry cleaner bill...

Design and comfort would be 5 stars, but the food is really below par. Beef carpaccio was more like bresaola and very over salted. Sea bass was fine but at £48 it should be. Sides were necessary and tasted like child food and not in a good way. The wine list in that postcode is always going to be punchy which is fine but showcase great producers don’t hide behind lesser cheaper names at premium prices. Nice staff, not necessarily as good as the price but tried hard. Altogether, go for a glam bougee evening out just don’t expect culinary fireworks.

The Arts Club has been on my radar for a long time. It’s been quite a sought after place to go out and had a reputation for being fun! I finally went tonight and was so disappointed. The staff were really unfriendly and the place was dead. The cocktails were lovely but the waiter taking our order looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. Both bars were quiet and the member that invited us in was really (and unnecessarily) very apologetic. Such a shame and I hope it perks up on other nights!

I have been a member of this club for many years. It used to be ok, but is has now become totally overrated. The wine is ridiculously expensive (ave 4x markup), and the meal is good but no better than any other decent Mayfair restaurant. The membership also seems to now have slipped to mainly being elderly middle eastern men that have often had too much to drink. They also treat members like rubbish. Poor inattentive service, mediocre food, packed chairs next to each other with no regard for comfort or privacy. A tacky place to boot… Shame had a great pedigree now being ruined… Needs a good GM to sort this place out. They’re in responsiveness to reviews shows you the lack of care or attention, they just take in the membership fees to keep this place going until it falls apart, by then who cares…

Good overall, but the smell coming from the kitchen is a bit of a let down. Otherwise, the staff is very helpful and the premise itself is quite pleasant in all resorts. Haven’t tried the food but coffee was well prepared.

This is a modern trendy private member club in prime London West End. I would have given it a 5/5 but it's mega expensive. Otherwise it's excellent.

The Japanese restaurant Kyubi had amazing food and top-notch quality. The live music at the nightclub was a blast!
