The Auld Shebeen Pub

The pub has a nice appearance. It seemed like our server was new, as he wasn't very attentive and we often had to call him over. My friend enjoyed his fish and chips, but I had a terrible experience with my meal. I first ordered the salmon, which had absolutely no seasoning, though it was served hot. The broccoli was cold, and the rice tasted like it came from a box or a bag and was lukewarm. I then tried the wings, but they were even worse—so salty that they were nearly inedible. On a positive note, the fries were tasty, and the drinks were strong, with no complaints on that front.

This place was an absolute delight. Other reviews described it as a hidden gem, and it certainly lived up to that reputation. While it's located in a hotel, stepping inside feels like being transported straight to Ireland. The decor, sourced from Ireland, is really impressive. The drinks are both strong and high quality, and the food was quite tasty. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
