We were in Kirriemuir on a Thursday afternoon and stopped here for tea and cake. It is a lovely wee, quaint place on your way through from the car park and on to Bank Street. There are a couple of rooms that you can sit in and a small room selling beautiful gifts. We sat in the back room so that we could choose from the home made cakes that we wanted with our tea. The tea for two came in a lovely tea pot with extra boiling water to top up. I ordered carrot cake and my husband had the chocolate cake and they were both fresh and delicious. The service was very good and friendly. The total bill was only £7.20 and we left a tip. Next time we are in Kirriemuir we will go back there as we enjoyed...

Visited this quaint little eatery in Kirriemuir and was really impressed. Entrance is up a close and it leads into two-tiny rooms with a genuie homely atmosphere, emphasised by the fact that the whole , show was being run by a staff of one! The lady in charge welcomed us warmly, apologised for the lack of staff but still managed to achieve a friendly, efficient service as well as prepare an excellent lunch.A brunch panini was something special and a helping of the home-made chocolate cake washed down by an excellent pot of Early Grey tea cost a mere £13 for the two of us. Good value to say the least.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and made fresh, including their amazing home baked goods. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee and cream scone, or a lunch of soup and a panini, you will not be disappointed. Karen's carrot cake is especially amazing. The cozy and traditional atmosphere only adds to the experience, so be sure to stop by and wait for a table if needed.

I recently had lunch with my daughter at this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated promptly by a very kind and friendly lady. Our toasties were served with a side salad and delicious dressing, along with homemade coleslaw and pasta salad. Our lunch was perfect and we will definitely return and recommend this place to others! Reserva una mesa ahora

I live in the town but still can't resist Karen's scones with a nice cup of coffee. They also do a very good Panini with homemade salad and dressing for lunch.Give it a go while you are in Kirriemuir.

The Auld Surgery needs some surgery. Premises shabby and down at heel. Soup was tasty, but a very paltry portion. Toasties were flabby and wet. No way worthy of a five star rating. Sorry!
