The Avenue Bar Allston Restaurant

I ate here tonight for the first time in about a decade. For the interegnum, I've been telling everyone who asks that the best burger in the world is the cry baby at The Avenue. Coming back, I was worried that my old favorite wouldn't be quite the same. I've changed a lot, perhaps the burger that once lighted my nights wouldn't hold up to new experiences. Fortunately it does. It's tangy and cheesy like watching reruns of Friends or Frasier or other comfort shows from an easier time in the world. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I run into for the next ten years. Hopefully I make it back to Boston to check in and make sure this place is still awesome.

10/10 incredible place for quality food at a reasonable price, beers and cocktails, watching sports games and overall good vibes. Stumbled upon this bar prior to a night out and so happy I found it. The staff were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. Cassie (bartender) makes incredible drinks (def recommend The 6 O'Clock Sunset) and the food was delicious! Kyle (manager) was extremely pleasant and sociable. The interactions and memories from this night will forever be cherished and I can’t wait to come back!

Over priced and the food mid as hell ate outside because inside there was an odd smell. Asked for tater tots and was given sweet potato tater tots?!? Tf kind of backwards thinking is that?

A lot of rats in the outside dining area. Mediocre cocktail avg 15 a drink. Default lowest tip percentage is 20% lol.
