I recently dined at the Aviary with high expectations, only to be met with an underwhelming experience. From the moment we were seated, the service lacked the warmth and attentiveness one would expect. Our server seemed indifferent to our presence, and when asked about the restaurant's specialties, she brushed off my question with a joke. It's essential for staff to be knowledgeable and helpful to customers, especially first-timers trying to get a feel for the menu.Given the lackluster service, I'd suggest opting for takeout if you're keen on trying their food. My cousins came to visit from Germany and I wanted to take them to a local brewery. Unfortunately it did not go well. We had asked the waitress what was popular on their food menu and her response was a chuckle and didn’t give an answer. Her attitude wasn’t friendly and was very rude. A few times we tried to call her to order, she ignored us. Their beers are really good but I would not recommend eating in here and would suggest take out if anything.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy yourself, this is it. From sports games to movie nights. Trivia night to kids nights, the aviary has it all. The bartenders are so personable and make you feel welcome. Diego especially, he always remembers my name and is happy to see me return for another Decadent burger and tater tots while watching my favourite sports team lose! (Not the bars fault the leafs are just them)

The waitress was so rude that we didn 't even get beyond being given a qr code menu. We decided we didn 't want to spend money in a place where the staff were so abrasive so we got up to leave and as we were leaving she muttered whatever under her breath. No idea what the drinks and food are like, but the atmosphere and service are sub standard at best.

Great spot if you’re a beer lover! They brew their own beer and rotate on a regular basis so customers can always try something new. The design of their cans is also really cool.Diego was super friendly and really knowledgeable, we would have spent more time there if we hadn’t had other plans for dinner.Highly recommended!

Went to Aviary to catch their screening of Mucdoch Musteries season 17 premiere. Nate was great! food was great! Didn't have any beer but I imagine it's great too. Recommend checking it out (and perhaps more Murdoch Mysteries screenings in the future ? .

If you want chicken feathers in your wings, go to this spot.Apparently the kitchen said this wasn’t uncommon ??‍ guess I’ll have to contact Toronto Public Health to see if that’s true or not.

Our bartender Diego was fantastic! Friendly and knowledgeable about the beer products, we even got a tour!Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious! Thanks, we will be back !
