The facilities are clean, including tables, chairs, and restrooms, not to mention the AMAZING food. The cook even offered us some complimentary fries because she had extra—such a generous gesture! My boyfriend raves that the sweet tea is the best he's ever had; it's definitely a Southern-style tea, rich with sweetness.
This was our second visit, and although it was bustling, we never had trouble finding a clean table or waiting area. I tend to feel anxious in crowded spaces, but everyone here respects each other's space. If you decide to go, you absolutely must try the limeade shake-up—it's a must!

This weekend, a group of 13 of my friends went down to float along the Awesome Lazy River. We had tried to do this last year and had called ahead to ensure they had enough tubes which they ensured us we did. If you have a large group and all pay as one, you can get a group discount. I would recommend signing the waiver beforehand because that sped up the check in process. They had plenty of tubes which included singles, doubles, and rectangle cooler floats. We placed our cooler, snacks, shoes, and SUNSCREEN in the cooler float. We used paddles to get us started but didn't need them later except to navigate around a downed tree. Hate to leave a bad review but aside from the nice friendly cashier, the food was absolutely terrible. The nacho chips were burnt and stale tasting, fries were cold and soggy, and the portion size of fried mushrooms was ridiculous, six tiny mushrooms for $4.75… one mushroom was the size of a nickel lol… it was laughable. The kitchen area and floors where food is prepped was filthy as well… we won’t be coming back.
I had a disappointing experience at the Awesome Flea Market when my car was vandalized in the parking lot during the day. Both of my mirrors were damaged, dust covers were removed, and there were fingerprints all over, in addition to scratches on the paint. Unfortunately, it seems that Shepherdsville has a problem with vandalism, particularly at the flea market.

Lazy is an understatement. This river didn 't go anywhere. We actually floated backwards for a while. 20 minutes of staring at the dock where we started, we got out where we put in. They advertise you will float down the river and that is not what you get. Borderline fraudulent. No refunds, rain check. Not with your time or money.
This place is essentially a lazy river, but honestly, there's nothing impressive about it. We floated in tubes and had to paddle ourselves along the river. At the end, our bus broke down, and I had to walk half a mile along a two-lane road before being picked up by another bus. I'm going to have to say NO to this experience.
Like any other flea market. Has lots of stuff. Cheaper prices outside and more random and what you expect from a flea market hunt. Inside is more like people bought from overseas and resale. Some indoor is resale finds too. I liked it.
I personally went looking for sports cards and/or star wars figures. They had plenty of booths that had those things. There were alot of booths. Something for everyone. They also had a great little restaurant.

The place is half empty. Bathrooms are a mess. The parking lot is a haphazard combination of blowing trash and potholes. Wasn't sure if it was open. No advertising. Parking and crowds are not a problem.
