The Badminton Arms

This has recently been refurbished and is lovely in there now. Lady that served us was really friendly and happy. And I have to say one of my favourite carverys around now. Went on a Monday night so price was £6.95 and on Sundays and bank holidays it's £8.95. You get two meats of your choice, a sausage, stuffing and a Yorkshire pudding plus all the traditional vegetables such as potatoes, cabbage, parsnips, Califlour cheese, carrots etc.... Really tasty carvery! On a winters evening it had such a warming feel to it, we felt really welcomed and cosy sat in one of the booths. They do offer other pub classics in here but their speciality is the carvery as it is now called The Badminton Carvery....

This pub is always a bit hit and miss. Ive only ever eaten roast dinners here. They used to be better before it was closed down and re opened as the badminton carvery. Recently having a roast here and it wasn't nothing to shout about, bulk made food. Soggy vegetables but lots of meat. I tend to go here more for just drinks in the bar, the bar has a nice country atmosphere and its a nice place to meet up with friends for a glass of wine. Although there is also the tv screen which does play sports too along with dart board and standard fruit machines. Its never mega busy in there but has a full bar and average prices hence the average rating.

This is a really busy well run pub come resturant. It is rarely empty any day of the week. The food is good and well presented. It is not the cheapest (but not expensive) whilst it is one of the better food establishments in the area. The pub is always clean and tidy with sufficient staff most of the time.

often driven by pastness and thought what a beautiful place. finally it had to try and was really impressed. You have to say that carvery was one of the best I had. not much different than a house cooked! would recommend! will definitely come back!

hit the spot....everything was boiled to perfection, even the gravur had deep and I never have so generous portions with meat at any other place I visited....oben staff, chef and excellent value for money is my only nigger that I don't live closer
