The Bagel House - Reserva de mesa

Making an educated guess, but I imagine this place is not doing so great. Prior to the pandemic their prices were decent—maybe slightly elevated compared to the rest of the area. But as of late, The Bagel House is rapidly and dramatically altering their prices and it's making it difficult to support them.When a simple bacon+egg+cheese cost more than working over a hour of this state's minimum wage is huge issue. Not talking about a full breakfast plate, like just a egg sandwhich. To complete your breakfast with a coffee, harsh brown, or a water is going to push your quick breakfast over $20, easily. As others pointed out, it's not a bad sandwich but it really isn't anything to preach about....

It’s frustrating to see such an American classic come with such a hefty price tag, especially considering how the economy is right now. Would I recommend this place? Maybe for a special occasion, but I can’t justify this expense on a regular basis. There are plenty of more affordable bagel shops out there if you’re willing to travel. I chose this one because it was just a mile and a half away, instead of having to trek from Philly to Jenkintown or Willow Grove for a Manhattan Bagel. However, after this price experience, I think I’d prefer the longer trip next time. Just six months ago, I paid about $15 for a dozen bagels and $5 or $6 for a variety of cream cheeses, plus a cheaper sandwich. (...

New York City has a local contender! I stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up grabbing some bagels because, why not? After spending seven years in Manhattan before recently moving to Philadelphia, I can confidently say that this is the best bagel I've had and rivals about 85% of the top spots in NYC. It’s a fantastic place!

Bought 6 bagels to go. Cost $16. Thought we were accidentally charged for a dozen. Nope. That’s how much they cost. Even though we can walk to the bagel house, we will be going to Fil A Bagel where we can get 13, yes, 13 bagels for the same price. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good bagels, fairly priced. My only complaint is that I've been twice, both times early, but not too early, and both times flavors have been missing. Otherwise quite decent, for Philly bagels (I'm from NYC ;
