This is such a great addition to Tonbridge and especially the top half of the high street where there’s fewer eateries. The building is gorgeous and the food (especially the brunch/lunch sandwiches is great. However, the last couple of times I have visited the service has been SO SLOW! They have an archaic system where the poor girl on the counter downstairs has to telephone the kitchen upstairs to place food orders, and likewise answer the telephone to hear that orders are ready for collection/service. Of course this massively slows service at the counter, and you can queue for 10+ minutes just to order a cake to take away (as I did last week! . At busy times they could certainly do with an...

I really like the staff here and the atmosphere, I just wish there were more vegan options. There are dozens of pastries lined up by the cash register, but not one is vegan and at this point in time, it really isn't too difficult to offer at least one option for people who don't consume dairy or eggs. Just a muffin would be nice. Otherwise really enjoyed my stop here.

Called in today for a fla white and a pastry. Coffee had a pleasant strong flavour. Pain au raisin was the last one available slightly over cooked but very tasty none the less. Agree with critic who felt the downstairs lacked atmosphere. Upstairs has a more olde wordlie feeling but it doesn’t have a lift.

Called in this lovely bakery while visiting Tunbridge for breakfast: I had poached eggs on toast with extra smoked salmon: the produce was clearly fresh and as they were cooked well it made for a tasty, satisfying meal. Reserva una mesa ahora

The very old building is attractive and cosy. You have to chose your cakes from the counter display and place orders for anything else. This can be a bit difficult with children or if you find it hard to carry a tray.

I pop in here occasionally for fresh bread, sometimes for a coffee and even for breakfast and never had any disappointments. Perfect bread, great coffee and cakes, and brilliant breakfasts! Much recommended.

A beautiful building with a nice bakery and coffee shop. The breads and cakes are high quality, and there it’s a nice place for breakfast/brunch. Only downside is service can be on the slow side.

Great bacon sandwich. Really good ingredients. Bit pricey and service is slow but worth the wait. Sat in the rear courtyard which was really nice in the sun. Reserva una mesa ahora

Thanks for some delicious pizzas must pop in for brunch in the week the menu looks great. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Great setting and atmosphere.

A wonderful venue for a great coffee ,delicious cakes and artisan bread! Centrally located near the Castle and parking! Highly recommend, thanks again!
