The Maidenhead is definitely worth a visit. The new owners are warm and friendly and very welcoming. Went there with my elderly parents and we all had a sandwich. Price wise it's not cheap but personally I am more than happy to pay a bit...extra for an excellent lunch. The chips were divine, dad had the beef sandwich, mum and hubby had the sausage sandwich, sausages were local and very tasty, I had the ceaser salad which had a very generous portion of chicken. We ate outside in a gazebo and we all throughly enjoyed our lunch. So much so we will be going back next week to celebrate my dad's birthday. Thank you both so much, lunch was superb.

Visited during a camping trip in the area, called ahead and got a good feeling about the welcome awaiting us wasn't disappointed. Very warm and friendly family run establishment, wood fired pizzas on a Monday night when the kitchen staff have their night off...is a nice touch (and delicious), there's a vintage tractor for the kids to climb on and a lovely large garden to relax in and the beer and cider are well kept and served at perfect temperature. Owner even helped us out of a pickle and donated us an old high chair when we realised we should have packed one for our trip!! Will definitely be back and recommend to all visiting the area.

Firstly I was taken by how well used this pub is with a good mix of young and old clientele. We went for dinner in their restaurant, which is nicely spaced out. The food was excellent as was the service. Nice selection of beers and...wine. The Maiden Mess dessert was lush. Also a great selection of cheeses. I will return to the Maidenhead.

We stopped off for lunch en route to Mid Wales. Dog-friendly and delicious freshly cooked food, apparently much from local suppliers. The weather was good, so we sat outside under the wooden ‘gazebo’. Nice friendly, relaxed atmosphere which is exactly what we were looking for....Would definitely recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

Now called The Maidenhead, we had a lovely meal. I was particularly impressed with the vegetarian and vegan options, as these can be quite limited. Friendly service.

Visited the Maidenhead twice over the weekend and both times found the staff and food to be brilliant. Will be back next year when we visit the area again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food very tasty, but sea bass meal very small, literally a few mouthfuls . Senior waitress not very friendly. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely .
