The Bakers Arms - Reserva de mesa

Went for Sunday lunch with the wife also took the dog. We were greeted by the lovely staff and shown to our table. We had pre ordered two Lamb shanks with all the trimmings. These were soon bought to our table and all I can say is WOW they looked stunning. The food was amazing and the lamb just fell off the bone it was so well cooked. The wife and I ate (and enjoyed) every morsel on our plates. Luckily we had both saved soon room for a cheeky dessert each. The wife opted for apple crumble and ice cream whereas I chose spotted dick and custard, these did not disappoint they were both lovely and soon polished off. Lunch at The Bakers yesterday. The wife and me. It was a spur of the moment decision as we were passing. One of my better ideas. Bangers,mash,veg and onion gravy for two followed by Strawberry waffle and a banana sundae,washed down With a decent mug of tea and a coke AND change from a twenty. The staff were on the ball friendly and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best pub lunches we have had for a good while, the food was fresh and cooked well, we will be making it a regular stop to work our Way through the menu lol.10/10 all round.

Wow I can't even start the bakers arms is one of the best pubs in swindon and I am not lying fish and chips and all food is on top and kath and John are both absolute jems and Is the best landlords I know and always it generous and her staff are some next level people especially Tracey,Michelle , Rose, sharon,Lorraine, maddison but I love all of them truly I can not suggest enough about coming to the bakers when you have the time and such amazing prices and value it all is so please go their if you get the chance

A fantastic Sunday lunch as always Friendly atmosphere great bar staff and the best pint of Guinness in Swindon....My mother and myself love it here so relaxing

Best roast dinner in Swindon. Excellent value for money. Even the cheese cake is delicious. Excellent service and friendly staff. Brilliant local pub.

Pub looks old and staff seems miserable.. food was okay but would like fresh food. Prices seems high
