I 've been several times to this restaurant as I was attracted by the breadth of the menu and inclusion of mixed vegetable options for most of the curries, as I find these to be more satisfying than the usual 'veg side dishes '. I have now tried the vegetable balti, vegetable madras and vegetable dhansak. Next time, the jalfrezi. The curries have a good amount and good mix of vegetables with a delicious sauce. The mark of a good veggie currie is that it 's better than the meat options and I find this to be the case here. Thanks Sam!
Try the Peru dishes! It 's good to see a curry house with a twist and a few actually unique things on the menu! Delicious meal, very friendly and personal service. We tried the Peru inspired Creamy Rogan josh which was delicious, and very different to a run of the mill curry, and a nice story to go with it too. We also the meat balti which again was great, not too spicy but really nice. We have been meaning to visit for a while as actually our local but now we have tried we will back again really soon. :
Rogan Josh was to die for! Went here for date night as tried every other Indian restaurant and takeaway in the Nottingham area and this place beats them all. We was greeted at the door and shown to a table where we was served with popadoms whilst we waited for our food. The service was AMAZING and felt like the most welcome atmosphere in Nottingham. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE as it’s authentic food where as a lot of other places are fake googled recipe and use food colouring.
Wow is all I can say. I had seen some good reviews so I thought I would give The Balti House a try. The best Indian meal I have had for years. Chicken Puri was amazing fluffy bread and well spiced and flavoured chicken, the main meal was equally as good. Kema nann was well cooked with just the right amount of spice. The host was fantastic really friendly and chatty. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Nottingham.

I saw the reviews for this restaurant and booked a table to see if the reviews were true, the food was amazing! There was 3 of us that went, we ordered from the vegan menu and we all walked away very happy with all the food we had. I highly recommend going here and will definitely be going back.
Amazing people, polite as always and the staff are always there to greet and chat to you. Food is awesome I had Butter Chicken I believe they are the best in Notts for their food and very traditional. Great price, Great People and Great Food. Happy St Patrick’s Day!
Great food, and lovely hosts! I've been visiting The Balti House every once in a while since the nineties, and every time the curries have been consistently good, as well as being great value. Well worth a visit, especially for their signature Patro chicken
Same staff and great flavours for over 25 years. Never fails to totally satisfy, friendly service, the ultimate Indian experience in Nottingham. Sam and Bash are the best. Pre order the Cauliflower pakora, taste sensation.

Absolute fantastic service. Sam was absolutely amazing and they were very accommodating to a number of us. Would definitely recommend and will be coming here again very soon!
Decent staff. Food was beyond brilliant. Genuine authentic Indian (non halal). Extremely worth going! Staff were so nice. Very welcoming.
