We tried this for the first time for easy takeout on our last night here. It was rainy and we didn't feel like going out. Ordered online for curbside. When I got there I found curbside area and called to let them know I was there. My food was brought out almost immediately. We all had pulled pork and it was delicious. We were glad that it was not overly smokey in taste. Sides were delicious and we all thought a good portion size for our dinners (Mac n cheese, green beans, fried okra, and corn on the cob). I have placed my order with someone on the phone who immediately told me that I would receive 6 bones of ribs for my third flesh on their meal. I took my order and brought it back to the apartment, but instead I got 3 bones. I called twice to ask her to fix her mistake. both people on the phone refused to do something because I would have chosen something else if they had given me the right information. make sure they know what they get, and they should train their employees a little better. I'm going to put back an appeal because I didn't get what I said I was going to receive. I'd look elsewhere if I were you. the portion sizes are very small.
I was very disappointed this time. Normally I give 5 stars to this place but I ordered beef brisket and it was awful. It was very burnt on the outside and dry on the inside. When I asked to send it back, I was told it 's all like that . I said ok, can I order another meat. I was then told I 'll have to charge you . Really?? I was just asking for another meat, not a whole platter!! Needless to say, I left paying half price for a platter that I didn 't eat, very disappointed and doubtful that I 'll return again. My wife had the brisket with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. I had the Grand Daddy' with brisket, pulled pork and ribs, fries and baked beans. Hush puppies were included with both. Everything except the ribs were good or very good. I used the spicy house sauce and the NC sauce. My wife used the house sauce. For a BBQ place the ribs I got should never have been served to a customer. I probably should have sent them back. They were so over cooked and dry that they were not good at all. Had I only ordered ribs, they would have been sent back.

fast and fantastic eating without waiting. in approx. 7p went straight and tables were open. our family enjoyed a delicious dinner at the late evening together. our waiter was excellent, our food was ordered without a long delay. we were very fast in and out. the restaurant and the bathroom were clean. there are plastic shields between stands for those who want additional protection. total excellent dinner. the green beans and black beans are the best!
a little after 17 o'clock, we were all met immediately by justin p our server. he was good with the children and adults. all orders were delivered quickly to the table. the adult and child meal were all good, especially the hush puppies placed three orders. compared to other beach restaurants was the price for good food and service fair. would recommend to all and will return. google maps brought us to the wrong side of the road.
Highly recommend the beef brisket and pulled pork. The mac n chz side was kinda small but super delicious. Corn fritters were amazing. The food was worth the portion size. The young lady at the at the drive thru was great.
We have eaten here twice this year and have not be disappointed. Their ribs are amazing fall off the bone tender. Onion rings and fries portions are huge.
