This bar is cool AF. You can’t help but love a speakeasy gin den that masquerades as a barber shop. First it’s all beard cutting and moustache shaping, then walk through the heavy metal door at the back of the barber shop and boom you’re in an elegant, dimly-lit bar that serves beautifully-crafted drinks (cocktails, whiskies, wines, you name it) and plays an eclectic mix of music (all good). We were in search of the The Baxter Inn and accessed this via 152-156 Clarence Street. We actually didn't realise that we weren't actually in the Baxter Inn! The Barber Shop is a great venue off a back street area, excellent service, amazing selection of spirits and as a Gin drinker it was so nice to be able to have tonic from a bottle and not pre-mix - (well done don't change this please). Good pricing. we were there on a Friday night, packed. very casual attire and not at all pretentious. It was very dim lite so this did make reading the drinks menu very challenging. Inside and out seating area. Would definitely go again

La peluquería es un concepto divertido, y si te gusta la ginebra, seguramente estarás bien mantenido aquí. ¡Tu lista de ginebra es enorme! Encontramos que el servicio es un poco afectado y se ha perdido, un personal amable, un poco con patrocinio. Cuando vaya a un nicho como los cócteles de ginebra, le gustaría educar a las personas sobre diferentes especies en lugar de despreciarlas para conocer sus cosas. Aparte de eso, fue un lugar decente para beber. Pero honestamente, con la cantidad de pequeños bares superpentantes cercanos, creo que daría una oportunidad a la próxima vez.

We stumbled upon this great little bar while trying to find the Baxter Inn. While it specialises in gin you can still get just about anything else so do yourself a favour and visit. Great atmosphere and quirky decor. I'll definitely go back when I'm next in the city. Reserva una mesa ahora

Confundirá este Barbero Bellamente amueblado para Baxter Inn, pero las bebidas en la peluquería no son de ninguna manera inferior, su competidor más famoso. Lo que me decepcionó son el barman que parece desinteresado. Tal vez tengas un mal día cuando estuve allí.

A great place to go if you like gin. with around 445 Gins to choose from, comfy chairs and waiter service it's a perfect place to go with family or friends. They even do lots of gin cocktails to choose from.
