I went to breakfast with a friend this morning and it was absolutely beautiful. customer service is great, the place is clean, quiet. so a beautiful atmosphere. very well maintained and even the toilets were conceivable, hygienic and clean. we ordered two big English breakfasts! pity that they do not come with hot drinks, but the prices were reasonable. the hot drinks we ordered were refillable, so it was a beautiful surprise. only problem is it not an all-day breakfast as it ends at 11 o'clock, however there is an extensive menu, from vegetarian to vegan, so they are spoiled for the choice. the place is very organized and discreet. kant fault it! Located in Barking, the pub isn't in the best area but that doesn't take away the shine from the place, it has a lovely atmosphere and staff are incredibly friendly. Like all spoons, food and drinks are cheap and it seems you're more than welcome to smoke outside so long as you remain away from the front doors. An added bonus is that it is right next to the station, so it's very helpful if you've just finished work in the city and want to get of the train for a quick pint or meal. There are often tables free during the week, however, on Fridays and Saturdays you will find it difficult to find a table, on Saturdays I'd recommend getting there around noon as it tends to get busy around 1pm-2pm...

Horrible Experience. Staff are awful and full of bullies. To order a food staff staff was asking for an ID, when asked why I should show my ID when ordering the food, staff was a bully character and keep insisting me to show my ID card. I asked to give me clarification on why I should show my ID to order the food no clear justification given instead kept arguing even manager had no common sense as she kept supporting her staff. filled with Bunch of extremely unprofessional, unwelcoming, ignorant and bullies staff. Not recommending anyone to visit this place.

Rude, incompetent staff especially the landlady and concerning lack of adhering to sanitary and covid regulations/staff sneezing behind the bar without cleansing of hands as witnessed by multiple disgusted patrons. Avoid this place.

What can I say it's run by chavs for chavs. It's one of these pubs where you walk in through the door and exit by being pushed through the window.
