Great local beer bar. They have a great selection of draft beers. Really nice view of the lake front. Good spot to stop when walking , biking or just driving through. On our recent (first) visit to Mandeville we discovered the Barley Oak. Its’ beautiful location overlooking Lake Pontchartrain makes it a busy spot for people to gather at the end of the day. Their huge selection of tap beers and their array of televisions showing regional and national sporting events attract big crowds. In addition, we were blown away by the quality of their food! It is definitely not typical bar food no deep fryer in this kitchen just a variety of delicious choices which kept us coming for dinner on multiple occasions. And to top it off great service from many different staff members. Well done!!

This place is fun to visit on the North Shore. It has that relaxed pub feel and an endless supply of beer. We have enjoyed sooo many pints on the balcony. Enjoyed my first visit here, loved the atmosphere. Great variety of beers on tap and canned/bottled beers. The appetizer plates were great snacks while enjoying some drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be back soon. Reserva una mesa ahora

Yummy food and great beer selection. The view is great and service. The gator sausage was very good and the gouda is very yummy! The quesadilla was not the best, they try to do too much for something that should be simple.
