I have always loved this spot. The night we went was unbelievably busy a Tuesday! Everyone was obviously trying very hard. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and working hard. If I'd have known, I would have opted for a less busy night but I will be back to see them again. The food is excellent. Drinks were excellent as well. An excellent restaurant.
Really nice, but seriously too expensive. The Barn has special memories for us and we were happy with food and service. But the price is simply too high to make this anything more than a corporate dinner or a 25th anniversary-like occasion unless you have cash to burn. Sorry to be so blunt.
Great ambience and pristine service. Our waiter offered great suggestions. We loved the value of the pri fix meal. The salmon was heavenly and he loved his steak. We will return again. I also recommend the carrot cake with a yummy chai sauce for dessert. We will return!
Beautiful place for an early bird (prix-fixe) food. Large selection to choose from. I even have a sparkle and mini glass of champagne because it was my birthday! The steak was amazing, and the salmon was delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora
Had to make a long trek home from the very north side of the city, and decided to detour to Evanston for ramen while traffic to die down.
Very expensive, but worth every penny. The fillet was delicious, service was attentive and the entire ambience was perfect.
The Barn is one of the best restaurants in the Chicago area. Always great!
