Thought we had a bit of a miss last night which is unusual for CM. I made a reservation indicating it was for an anniversary dinner (2 couples celebrating 43 years each! I was disappointed that We were seated in the bar area, which I feel is more casual than eating in the dining room and noisier . We should have asked to be moved but I guess I was taken by surprise when they led us into the bar. The food was very good as usual however the service was very slow. Thankfully, we weren't in a hurry so an almost 3 hour dinner was fine. I asked the waiter what came with the scallops and he told me it came with a salad, when in fact it came with some kind of steamed vegetables. I thought afterwards...
Went there for our anniversary dinner. My wife I both ordered the specials. She had the twin lobster tails with a twice baked potato. It was fantastic. I ordered the strip steak special after a waiter informed us that it was processed using “genes” from Wagyu beef. It was probably the worst steak that I have had in years. Definitely not worth $70. Great flavor but I thought I was chewing a beef jerky purchased at a 7/11. Very disappointing. Our server never came by the table to ask how our meal was. I'll will seriously have to consider going back there. There are plenty of good high end restaurants in the Columbus area.
Our date night dinner was excellent at The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek. The server was very knowledgeable and attentive. We had a Caesar salad and lobster bisque to start the meal. The bisque was good and had little to no lobster in it. The flavor was good, but that's about it. I opted to try the Prime Rib since I have not had a good one in a long time. The server said it was locally sourced and marbley and it was. My date had a perfectly prepared filet and the flavor was excellent. I will not pass on a good steak again in place of another choice on their menu. Overall great service, ambiance, and food.
Neither steaks that my wife or I had were cooked to the correct temperature. I had to send mine back to the kitchen to let it cook more but when it came back out it was overcooked and tough. Not at all the experience you want when the steaks are so expensive, and we weren't offered any sort of compensation to make up for their mistake.

Our first visit. We were seated in the trophy room which was like a 3 season room bright and inviting. Music was at a comfortable level and although full, the noise level was on the quiet side. Our service was great thank you Nicolette! We both enjoyed our meals and thought the overall experience was relaxed and unrushed.
The Barn at Rocky Fork is the perfect elegant dining experience. The food is always excellent as is the ambience and service. Our waiter, Stewart, told us after the meal that we were his first table as a waiter. We would have never guessed it. He did not miss a beat. He helped make our evening out perfect.
An absolutely great restaurant! My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and will continue to eat here on any occasion or just out of the blue. A great staff that is attentive,polite and timely! Highly recommend eating here!
The restaurant is beautiful . The food was good, but definitely overpriced. The wait staff was very attentive and professional. The prime rib was amazing. The steak kabobs were okay. A bit overcooked and chewy.

It's a lovely place. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is good. It was a nice way to spend my husband's birthday.
