We went as a family adults and children) on Christmas Day and I have to say that I had pretty low expectations before we went, given that it was Christmas Day. But I was absolutely blown away by how lovely the food all...was, especially my main course. I opted for the champagne salmon and it looked and tasted absolutely delicious as did all the accompanying vegetables. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the food and everything was cooked very nicely. Also, I must say that the staff were very friendly and were running an extremely efficient and professional service. Well done to you all at the Barn Owl I will be recommending you
We booked the festive menu for boxing day, My starter was camembert cheese and was very nice, husband had soup and he said it was cold, we both had steak for main mine was burnt underneath does the chef think if he turns it over...i wont notice ?? it wasn't nice all i could taste was burnt steak, for pudding we had belgian chocolate and raspberry truffle, the base the truffle part was horrible and the chocolate sauce on it tasted grainy Staff were very nice and friendly
Been about times to the Barn Owl now and we haven’t had a bad meal. The service is always spot on and the food is always great quality. Our most recent visit we were served by Greg and he was absolutely brilliant always there...for people when they needed him he was training somebody at the time as well so well done Greg. The chips at the Barn owl are hands down the best I’ve ever tried! We will most certainly be returning!
My grandson and his wife brought me for dinner and it was a much better experience than the last time I visited when we waited ages and were then told the order hadn't gone through to the kitchen. This time we were served promptly and...didn't have too long a wait. All three meals were good I was the only one that had chips (chunky chips) and they were really good, staff were friendly and efficient.

Balloons looked lovely for our late Christmas staff do. Really attentive and helpful with the kids and change for the grabber machine which they loved!! Food was really hot and full of flavour. Portions were great. Staff coped really well even though they were clearly...busy. Also pretty good coffee
Steak baguette salad … steak was like old leather boots no baguette so gave me slices of mothers pride thinest bread available at Tesco's. salad looked like it was last weeks. Wont even try again !
We booked the barn owl a group of girls for a get together and some food. We had the best night, staff were attentive and the food was amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend
