Visiting Wembley for the first time and found a great groupon deal for The Base, mini bowling and food/a drink each for 4 people. Had our 6 and 7 year old, who have also never been bowling beforehand. Booked 24 hours in advance, very polite and helpful and also got a little lost on way so called again and the same gentleman was very polite and helpful. Free parking right outside. The outside of building looks very run down but looks are deceiving. We all thouroughly enjoyed bowling and there are other arcade games, loads of room, up to date music playing. Then went to a different room to eat, much quieter. Food was incredible!! Chicken burgers, chicken wings and fries with a choice of drink....
I purchased a deal through Groupon for £12 on Friday, October 25th. My partner and I took our little one to the restaurant, arriving around 7:30 in the evening to play bowling. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the place appeared closed and unkempt. There was mail and debris scattered both outside and inside the establishment, giving the impression that it had been closed for some time. We were disappointed to have wasted our time and money traveling there, especially since the website stated that they were open until 11pm on Fridays. In reality, the venue was not even open when we arrived. We were unhappy with the situation, especially since the restaurant looked nothing like the pictures posted...
I had purchased this Groupon activity to do with my husband for his birthday. We have always enjoyed going to independent restaurants and thought we’d try it out. Upon arrival the venue was not opened and we waited around for a bit, when I called the booking number the owner answered and promptly opened the door for us, explaining that he was receiving a delivery. The owner was polite, friendly and made us feel more than welcome. Yes as other reviews have mentioned, the venue could do with some improvement (a clean and removing the rubbish would already be good) but this did not impact on our experience. As the only guests there on the day we had the place to ourselves and enjoyed two games...
To start off, ignore the negative reviews from entitled customers. My group purchased a Groupon Voucher and had a great experience. For just £22, we enjoyed a game of Mini Bowling, delicious burgers, chips, and chicken nuggets, and a drink of our choice for each person. You won't find a deal like this elsewhere for 6 people. The Base may not advertise Mini Bowling clearly, leading to some disappointments, but the interior is decent and not as run-down as some say. The staff was friendly, and we had a good time. It's a fun place for locals to visit with kids. Just a minor issue with the Mini Bowling machine on the left lane, but overall, a great place for affordable entertainment. Don't expec...

I bought Groupon vouchers for Steers and I end up in the poor version of a Chicken Chips joint. Obviously as I had taken my wife and Son here to celebrate his 16th birthday, I did not make a fuss. Under different circumstances I would have created hell. We ate the food presented which was OK, but when I was presented with a plastic knife and fork, that took the biscuit, so to speak. What made it worse was the fact that the **** fork broke. I ordered Steers and what I got was a cold welcome to a place totally devoid of athmosphere which I would NEVER wish to visit again.
After passing by this restaurant several times, I decided to stop in. The staff was friendly and I ordered the burger and chips. I can confidently say that this is one of the best burgers I have had in London, and I dine out frequently. The portions were also very generous.
We used the groupon voucher, my partner and I, for bowling which included the food platter for 2. The place is very run down and the food was very disappointing. The platter for 2 consisted of half a chicken burger and some fries.
Good vegetarian food. With a Groupon voucher we had vegetarian burger, chips and milkshake. It was all delicious! Service was great and staff were very polite. Would highly recommend.

The chicken wings and fries were good. the burger was average as it was slightly over cooked. Wasn't too impressed with the hygiene at the place either. The desert was good as well.
