The Batter Fish And Chips Shop In Canning Vale

Just moved around the corner 2weeks ago and thought we need to try this and see how good it is. After reading the reviews on Facebook This afternoon I decided we would give it ago. (Being from NZ we are pretty fussy with having fresh fish and good tasting chips) while waiting for our order the guy (owner) had given us some free battered mussels to try and my partner really enjoyed them and said the batter was spot on! chips were good the fish was nice, fresh and huge! We love how they sell the NZ L&P drink, watties sauce, NZ hot dogs, NZ mussels we definitely will be back since it only takes a minute to walk over, most likely going to be a once a week thing now lol Owners are very lovely peo...

First time trying out 'The Batter ' last night and I am so happy we did! I actually don 't think I 've ever been treated so well in any other cafe or restaurant let alone a takeaway! Instead of my gluten allergy being a problem I was given advice as to which fish is best, my chips were salted separately (apparently chicken salt has gluten in it too! AND I was given a free pineapple ring that was coated in gluten free flour! Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Thank you so much, you really made my day! We will be coming back for sure. THIS is how you run a business!

The best fish and chips in Perth, without a doubt! If you haven't tried this place yet, you're really missing a treat. The staff are fantastic, and we always seem to get a little something extra. I won’t order fish and chips anywhere else!
