The Bavarian Broadbeach

Beer was served in a glass with a chip out of the glass rim. No cut was suffered but I brought the damage to the attention of a passing waitress who took the half full glass and poured the remaining beer in to a clean glass and returned it to the table. No thanks given for bringing the damaged glass to the attention and no thought given to whether a fragment of glass might be in the liquid.Since I am not given to confrontation the returned glass remained untouched.

We will never return to this restaurant, even though we used to visit regularly. Only a third of the beer selection was available, and the bar was cluttered with dirty glasses. They were out of pork knuckle, veal schnitzel, pork schnitzel, and faced several other issues. It was a disappointing experience, and we ultimately decided to leave feeling quite disgusted.

We had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and friendly staff. The location is somewhat unusual, as the sloped floor causes things to slide off the table, and the outdoor seating can be quite chilly in the morning. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and have returned since.
